vital energy community relations

Community Engagement

We are committed to being great neighbors and supporting the communities that surround our operations.

Deep Commitments

Our company exists to energize human potential. This purpose reaches beyond our operations to fully engage our communities.

Lifting One and All

Vital Energy is committed to making the world a better place. We do this by responsibly producing energy that’s vital to driving human prosperity and progress. We also do it by supporting our communities.

Our philosophy for philanthropy is to engage the areas that surround our operations. This is where we live and work. These are our friends and neighbors. It’s home. And it couldn’t be more natural for Vital Energy, and every person who works here, to reach out and lift up our communities to make them better.

How every one of us can create a better world

Vital Energy’s President and CEO Jason Pigott shares what our purpose means to him personally and how everyone here plays a role in advancing humankind by developing responsible, sustainable energy.

Everyone contributes for good

Every year Vital Energy commits dollars to the organizations we support. Our employees do the same, and more. We know that giving volunteer time often is just as important as monetary contributions. Thus, all employees are given eight hours of paid time off per year to donate their time to supporting any cause they choose. Plus, in addition to the corporate matching from our major annual charitable giving campaign, Vital Energy also matches employee contributions to their favorite charities, up to $1,000 per year.
